We are located in the Lobster Capital of Canada; positioned along the South Shore of Nova Scotia.
Last year alone in 2006, 64.6 million pounds of lobsters were caught in Nova Scotia. That's just a little under what Maine U.S. caught, which was 67.3 million pounds.
I am also a lobster fishermen, and I enjoy cooking sensational seafood for my family and friends on special occasions, get-togethers, and celebrations. These experiences had led me to further occupations.
From 1984 to 1994 I had a position preparing meals 4 times a day for 15 crew members on a long liner, fishing the grand Banks of Newfoundland. I know this makes me sound a little old, but I'm really not, believe me.
Preparing seafood for my family and friends to enjoy is a pleasantly simple task. Just imagine what it was like, to prepare meals for 15 crew members for 20 days, and keep them satisfied.
We are of the memorble South Shore , and I hope that some of the recipes I have illustrated for you will be a exquisite treat. I am confident that you will be extraordinarily pleased. |
